The Natural Environment Is Yelling for Help!

Our planet is in a critical state. One of the greatest threats is greenhouse gases, particulate matter, and other harmful substances that are gradually but relentlessly destroying life on Earth. Understanding the global impact of air pollution is crucial for taking decisive action. In light of rising healthcare costs and environmental consequences, strategic measures and international cooperation are essential to optimize outcomes and reduce the economic burden of emission-related diseases.

FOR 800,000 YEARS (UNTIL 1950) THE CO2 LEVEL NEVER EXCEEDED 300 PPM! AS THESE DATA SHOW, WE HAVE INCREASED FROM ABOUT 370 PPM IN 2002 TO ABOUT 405 PPM IN 2016. IN 2022, THE ANNUAL AVERAGE CO2 CONTENT REACHED 417 PPM!

Historyczne Emisje CO2 według NASA

This animation shows the level of carbon dioxide (CO2) in parts per million (PPM) from September 2002 to February 2016, using data from the AIRS instrument on the Aqua spacecraft. If the CO2 level is 400 parts per million, it means that if we fill a container with air containing one million particles, 400 of them will be CO2. Most of the air is nitrogen (78%) and oxygen (21%), with traces of other gases.

Gases known as "greenhouse gases," such as CO2, methane, nitrous oxide, and water vapor, make up only 0.1% of atmospheric gases, but have a very strong impact on the atmospheric energy balance. Greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere, preventing it from radiating into space, thus disrupting the energy exchange balance.

Insufficient Actions

The efforts made to reduce emissions are not enough.

The Zero Emission Myth

Electric vehicles (EVs) are still powered by energy that comes from the burning of fossil fuels, accounting for approximately 70%.

The Lithium Issue

The extraction of lithium essential for producing electric batteries will soon become a greater problem than the extraction of oil and coal.

"The Dark Side" of Renewable Fuels

Fuels derived from recovered resources emit even more pollutants.

Limited Supply of Biofuels

Increased demand will lead to competition for resources with the food sector and may result in higher food prices and hunger.

Greenhouse gas emissions from transport in Europe & Projections (combined)

(source: eea.europa.eu)

Comments:
– The graph shows the trend in greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector since 1990 and the forecast until 2040 at the EU level (EU-27). The 2023 values are preliminary estimates reported by Member States.

– The given values include all emissions from domestic transport. They do not include international aviation and international maritime transport, or emissions related to the production of electricity used in transport (e.g. trains, trams, electric vehicles).

– The ‘with existing measures’ projection scenario reflects the impact of existing policies and measures on future emissions, while the ‘with additional measures’ scenario also includes further planned policies and measures notified by Member States.

– If breakthrough solutions to reduce gas emissions are not implemented, despite the most “optimistic” forecasts, the only thing we can count on is a reduction in emissions to a level similar to that from 3 decades ago.

Our Mission

We are actively committed to protecting the environment and improving quality of life by reducing emissions of harmful greenhouse gases. The energy transformation and switching the world economy to clean renewable sources is inevitable. However, this is a complicated process and is expected to take many years. During this time, the planet needs to breathe, so solutions are needed to restore the disturbed balance now. That is why, sparing no effort and resources, we have undertaken the mission to develop a formula that will strike at the heart of the emissions problem and help us survive before it is too late!

Tadeusz Kościewicz, PhD.

Founder & CEO

iQiTech was brought to life by a Polish visionary, Tadeusz Kościewicz, with the goal of preserving our planet for future generations.

The whole world is working to eliminate exhaust emissions, but it will be many years until internal combustion engines are 100% replaced by electric. Many of us will not live to see the goal achieved. Our organisation’s primary goal is to develop a solution that will allow us to deal with this problem and make the transition into this new era as smoothly and as quickly as possible.

We have accomplished this task after thousands of hours of research and experimentation by outstanding scientific minds. Our vision progressed over time until our 2021 patent application for the latest generation formula – a fuel component that significantly reduces the emission of toxic compounds into the environment. An entire range of products has been created that is used in many sectors of the economy, and now it is up to us to expand their use to leading transport companies, power plants and even world governments.

“We hold the science and the knowledge in our hands. We need to be proactive and take action for the sake of our future and the future of our children!”

Our Journey to Innovation: The Q18 Roadmap

Explore the pivotal milestones in the development of iQiTech’s revolutionary Q18 fuel component, a cornerstone in sustainable fuel technology.

Conceptualization

The initial concept of Q18 was born in Warsaw, Poland from the visionary mind of Ph.D. Tadeusz Kościewicz, aiming to create a fuel additive that significantly reduces harmful emissions without altering engine design.

The general idea was discussed with the leading minds in the oil industry which lead to establishment the early team of scientists. The work has begun!

2015

Early Development

Early stages of development focused on enhancing fuel combustion efficiency, leading to preliminary lab tests that showed promising reductions in emissions.

During the initial tests that aimed to examine the underlying roots of the problem, a significant observation was made: the emissions of harmful gasses as a by-product of fuel combustion derive greatly from the imperfection of combustion itself. The thesis was confirmed in the laboratory and it became the main subject of the further research.

2016

Prototype Testing

Prototype versions of Q18 were tested in various engine types, confirming compatibility and effectiveness in emission reduction.

Field Trials

Extensive field trials demonstrated Q18’s ability to reduce CO, CO2, NOx, SOx, and particulate matter emissions significantly across multiple industries.

One of the most significant field tests was made in cooperation with Fortel Group and  Hawk Group in the United Kingdom. The latter, being the leading British company in the construction field at that time, has assigned their 132 heavy-duty Komatsu machines to run solely on the fuel enriched with our product for the entire year. The results were stunning:

  • Total Working Hours: 199,956.30
  • Saving On Fuel Consumption: 14.06%
  • Saving On CO2 Emission: 85%
  • Fuel Costs Saving On Above Fleet (£):  269,941.01
  • Social Costs Of Carbon Emissions – Savings (£): 196,430.71 (85%)
  • UK Carbon Tax – Savings (£): 71,395.66 (85%)

Even though the effects were so impressive, we still had to refine the formulation to make the final product more stable.

Field Trials

Extensive field trials on maritime vessels confirmed Q18’s ability to reduce CO, CO2, NOx, SOx, and particulate matter emissions.

Parallelly, in cooperation with the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, tests were carried out on maritime vessels, clearly demonstrating the efficiency and effectiveness of the use of the Q18 formula to reduce GHG emissions.

2017

Optimization

Further refinement and optimization of the Q18 formula to maximize its efficiency and shelf life, preparing for commercial production.

The following outstanding institutes join the group of researchers working on the project:

  • Bridgend Technical College
  • Orlen Laboratory
  • Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Machinery and Combustion Engines

Numerous tests confirm the effectiveness and stability of the improved formula.
